A kink in the plan and new plans

Ok so you start your day and know there's a lot that NEEDS to fit into it. So you make a perfect plan that get's it all done without sacrificing your sanity. But you over look one little, tiny minute detail and it's all gone to crap.......... Well, ladies and gentlemen (?), that's what happened to my not-so-perfect plan.

So what was The Plan.

Well, it was to go to work, than go to the printing studio and work on my next phase of printing (photo bomb to come...). While I'm working on my junk, I would be looking in on my English class (which is actually happening at the same time) via my laptop. It all goes fine......until I get to the studio, unpack my belongings, set up the laptop, and go to get my printing plates/supplies out of my locked locker....... a locker locked by a KEY lock.

Guess what I didn't have? The key.

It was at my home in my usual school bag which I had traded in for the day for one that my laptop would fit in. Sure, it was an option to drive ALL the way home, then ALL the way back.

I had too many other things that needed to happen though so that didn't.

All really is good now, it's just frustrating. I'm behind on my printing class stuff which makes me feel somewhat frazzled. But get this: this is my last week of classes! Yay! Next week are finals and I am oh so ready to have an extended break from academics. Not learning, just school.

anywho.......

Oh another update: I will be posting less. Generally I have tried to blog everyday, but I feel like I need to cut back a bit. Not just on my blog, but all media stuff. I did a cut-back a little while ago and wrote a post about it here. It's actually one of my most popular posts. And I want to try to go further with that this summer.

Instead some goals I've made for the summer include:
Plant a vegetable garden
Learn how to can with my friend Corrine
Read one book/week
Start either recycling or composting (I'm just challenging myself to pick one)

I'm excited for the challenge and new freedom

  1. Oh no! I forget little things all the time, I sympathize with you. :) At least you're so close to being done! I like what you said, about taking a break from school, not learning. That's a good outlook on life!

On another note, I want to learn canning too! I think I will attempt it this year :)
