A hunt for a hat

In June Adam's cousin is getting married. The bride has asked all female guests to wear hats! Fun, right? I know! So me and my sister-in-law, Ally, are really getting into it. Today, after church, when went looking for just the right hats.

Ally found these headband things that had whirlys and feathers and tulle flowers and netting.
She fell in love with this black one and snatched it up.
I love it on her!

I don't know how she chose! There were so many options!

And Ally's so goofy! Everytime I would try to get a candid snapshot,
she would just put whatever she had in her hands on her head and smile!
Ha! No matter how fast I was.

I found two I liked best. First this bluish-gray one.

I really like how that tulle made a little dome-like hat.

I would probably remove those front feathers

The second was this creamy-colored one.

Very sweet.

I never could settle on one. I might attempt to make my own and/or keep looking.
I NEVER wear hats. It's kind of a mindset you have to get into.
"This thing, on my head, is part of my outfit."
Weird.
