I've kind of come to collect nesting dolls so this past Christmas my sister bought me some plain shells to design my own. Today (6 months later) I finally got around to starting in on them.
I just decided to do some color blocking to start with.
Dry time.
They do look like they could use a coat of glossy shellac.
I might also do some doodles with ink.
My nieces and nephews LOVE playing with my dolls so maybe these
can be a no worry set for them.
Of course I can't just throw away perfectly good paint.
So I flattened my palette (aka sheet of baking parchment)
over some leftover printing paper.
Smooth and squish
Pull up and smoosh again.
Repeat.
And I'm left with this "print".
Yay for color!
