A bunch of the high school girls and I went swimming today at Turkey Run park. The weather started out a little worrisome. By the time we arrived though, it was perfect! And what's more, the uncertain weather scared everyone else off. For most of the time we had the huge area to ourselves! Score, right?
Every one got a bench and we parked right next to
the diving board for endless diving competitions!
Today definitely made a splash (*wink)
I also got some more happy mail
I ordered something from Etsy for the first time ever.
Who doesn't love surfing through that site
and salivating over all those unique things?
What did I order you ask?
Well, I needed to find some sort of hat for
Adam's cousin's wedding (which is THIS weekend. eek!)
So I found a vintage headpiece on Etsy for the low,
low price of $7 including shipping! Perfect!
What do you think? It's exactly what I was looking for.
I have a hot pink, linen dress to wear with it..... plus some cream wedges, I think.
(Can you tell I'm slightly burnt from the day? It literally feels like summer :)
