opps!

So I totally dropped the blog ball this past weekend. Let's start over:

Saturday, December 24

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!

We spent the day with Adam's parents and sister. Here are some moments of the day:

Obviously a lazy day. Adam playing poker online, Chris watching football

Ally and I decided to do something festive.
So we braved walmart on Christmas eve and scored some sweet
Gingerbread house (in my case train) kits

Finally bought myself one of these icing gun things. Sale!!!!!

I never thought I'd get this thing to stand upright

Ally's

Yummy sweet.

Hope you had a wonderful christmas eve!

Sunday, December 25

Merry Christmas, everyone!!! I love Christmas day. It is seriously magical thinking that people around the world are doing nearly the same thing. I loved laying in bed yesterday and thinking of all the people in my life who I love and imagining what they might be doing at that moment.

Such a clean, clear Christmas morning

We stayed in bed and opened the stockings santa (?) left us

I made cinnamon rolls.

Found the full length Rudolf on youtube. Yay!

Since Christmas fell on a sunday this year, we went to church. After a Christmas like that I wish we always had church on Christmas. Of course I always see my natural family on Christmas, but it was wonderful to see my church family on such a day.

Yea, the guy in the Cosby sweater is our pastor. If you can believe me,
it had a part in the message.

Then we went to my mom and dad's house with my whole family

Christmas-themed fruit pizza

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son

Hope your Christmas was the very merriest.
