We spent Saturday celebrating Easter with my side of our family. It was a bright, clean day. We did the usual: eating, talking, and Easter egg hunting.
Mom's a pretty good cook
We four found a spot on the porch to eat
No touchy
The "adults" had an hunt too. My parents yard slopes down into a huge hill
with woods at the bottom.
Looking, looking, looking
We went on hike in the woods.......that just happen to be owned by someone else.....opps
Creek front
It was a beautiful Easter. we had fun with our family but the most significant element was the fact that we were celebrating our Savior rising from the grave and paying for all our sins against our Creator.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
John 3: 16-18
