Remember that Kindle I said I got for Christmas?

Well I use it everyday. It is earning its keep, that's for sure.

I thought I'd share some titles I'm reading right now.

So this one is just a month long program on caring for your home.

It uses Martha's standard of clean but from Mary's approach. 

(Martha and Mary are from the bible. Story short, Jesus visited their home and Martha spent the 

whole time cleaning while Mary sat and listened to Him. Martha was angry w/ Mary for not helping out

but Jesus said that Mary's heart was the correct one Luke 10: 38-42)

I'm just reading through it once right now. 

I want to simplify my life. 

So I'm reading this.

A Thousand Splendid Suns.

It is one of the best books I've read in a long time. 

Here's a good summary I found:

A Thousand Splendid Suns recounts the experiences and emotions of two Afghani women, Mariam and Laila, whose lives become entangled with the history of recent wars in their country. Mostly bleak and heartrending, their story does offer the promise of hope and happiness in a land ravaged by warfare, gender conflicts, and poverty.

It has made me think about a whole world of people and a war I ignore.
