Coupla things

My makin' bug bit again today. A month or so ago I tried the stupid chalk board thing. I thought I would like it but nope, I still hate chalk board stuff. Tooooooooo messy looking. So I flipped that board and did something different on the other side. 

First I strategically pounded in some nails. 

Actually it was totally random. 

Bang bang bang.

Yes, I did hit my thumb more than once.

Actually more than 5X 

Then I made a selection of embroidery thread. 

I wanted a pretty neutral look

I went ahead and stuck with black and white...... uber neutral.

And that's it. 

So easy and totally free. 

I used stuff I already had. 

 Also look how my garden grows!

Everything is growing (including weeds. faaaaaaaantastic)

Oh and here are the first fruits, er ah, veggies of my labor: lettuce.

Ahh. Who knew one could get so stoked about lettuce. 

Also I got to meet miss Addeline (Addie) Grace Pittenger tonight. Less than a week old and tiny as a button. Just as cute too : )
