Yesterday I also took pictures of my day as I went. I like to do that
Wednesday night Adam challenged me to a game of Yatzee.
When we were dating he would come over and all there was to do was watch TV
or sit in the living room and talk. So we started playing Yatzee.
And not just a game here and there.
But full on tournaments.
He would make me so mad because he ALWAYS get a yatzee.
Every. Single. Game.
The next day (Thursday) I was off to work earlier than I've been all semester.
And of course, I got stopped by a train.
As I've mentioned before you cannot drive any direction in
this town without being "railroaded"
I try to enjoy these times and look at them as moments stolen by God for me to slow down
and just sit for a while. Like a impromptu time out.
Sometimes, it's just annoying though.
This semester 4 girls I work with are graduating. BOOOOOOOO!
I'm going to miss them all very much.
We've all become very good friends.
Lf-Rt: Paige, Katie, Kristi and Courtney.
Bah ha!
Buttercream= my favorite kind of frosting
I had 2 servings
Then, my printmaking critique happened.
And our prof. brought ice cream in for us.
Thank you, Chester!
(by the way this is dessert helping #3)
Afterwards, I went home to slice strawberries for my mom's after ceremony get together.
They were so big and juicy, I couldn't resist.
Adam and I invited everyone over for dessert when it was over.
Angel food w/ strawberries, lemon glaze pound cake, and iced coffee
This equals a total of 5 dessert servings for my day.
oy
Congratulations again, Mom!
Love you!
