Camp prep

In three days we'll be packing off the youth group to camp. Camp is a week long retreat at Cedarville college in Ohio. It is always one of the best weeks of our year along with one of the most exhausting. I can't wait. Our group is nearly 50 strong this year, our biggest yet!

Here's what a normal day of camp looks like:

Our key verse for the week:

"BE ON YOUR GUARD; STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH; BE COURAGEOUS; BE STRONG."
1 CORINTHIANS 16:13

We pray for our teens to love the Lord and live their faith audaciously. We pray that He would meet us at camp again this year and fill us with His presence. Please be praying for us. Pray that God would be glorified and that the doors to our hearts would be blown open to Him.

Thank you.

Until then, these next couple days I'll be working towards getting ready for the week.
  •  A friend will be house sitting for us. I need to clean and get some simple groceries. A lasagna for the week was requested as payment so that needs to be prepared.
  •  Packing needs to happen......hence laundry needs to happen
  •  I always like to decorate the girls' dorm hallway for the week so I'll be working on a project or two for that. Neon is the theme this year. What teenage girl doesn't adore neon?
  • On top of that each day leading up to camp-leave-day has an event. An interview, 2 parties, a band show that Adam's drumming in.
What gets done, gets done. I just want to be at camp :)
