He Will Provide

So far my day has been spent working on stuff for school with my husband.
I'm just typing up a quick post before I rush off to work for the night.
Have I mentioned how ready we are to be DONE with school?
One or two times maybe? :)
Well we are.
I am burnt out.

So burnt out, I've even been a little dried up when it comes to blogging.
Life doesn't seem to be interesting lately.

I want change so bad and it feels like it won't ever come.

But it will....... right?
We are going to graduate.
And one day I won't have to rush off to work another late night.

right?

Lord. I hope so.

I am burnt out.

But I did read this passage in James chapter 1 this morning:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. 10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. 11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.
12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

God, grant me perseverance through faith. Grant me wisdom to follow You. Help me pass this testing of my peace and patience so that I can worship You.

  1. You're so close to being done!! Also, thank you for sharing this passage, I needed to hear it today. This is one of my favorites and I never tire of reading it. DO you happen to know what version this is?
