(Warning: I forgot the the memmory card for my camera so I used my phone for all these pics. I tried to edit them and I'm sure I did an awful job. But they work. And I don't care.)
We entered our room on Friday night and didn't peek out til noon the next day. We both slept untill 11 :) I can't remember the last time I did that. And we just enjoyed each other. Having some continuous, uninterupted time was just a pleasure and I think we needed it. Not in the need-to-survive kind of need it but definitly the I-love-you-I-want-you-to-know-you're-my-number-one kind of need it. And God gave it to us. Thank you so much, Lord.
Saturday we went for a hike that led us here. There was no one even around really. And it was a beautiful day.
Then we hiked back to the Inn for a late lunch. Afterwards, Adam found a tiny arcade room so we blew some $ there. It was fun. Adam won me a plastic carabiner from one of the machines. Heartwarming, no?
From there we went back to the room for and napped some more. At about 5 we decided to do something so we went out and drove to the nature center. It closed at 5. We were 5 minutes late. Too bad. Soooo we went to get dinner and see a movie in town.
Of course we slept in as late as we could on Sunday morning. Then we packed up, checked out and headed home. We were back in town in time to meet our friends after church for lunch. Sweet.
A funny fact: Our room was tiny. T-I-N-Y. A single full sized bed, stand up shower, use the tiolet/brush-teeth-at-same-time tiny. I'm choosing to rememebr it as cozy and intimate. It met our needs. :)
Hey Adam, if you read this, I love you. Thank you for this weekend. You're my best friend. You have been since I was 14 and you will be til I'm 114.
love, me
