Just a moment ago I was reading a blog by Adam's cousin, Meg, and I was so encouraged by her. I read her blog often and every time I do, I leave it feeling calm, thankful, encouraged and nudged in the right direction. She's not the only person in my life that shines that kind of light. There are just people like that, that seem to consistently radiate the warmth and joy of God. It's not that everything is peachy perfect and smooth sailing in their life. It's that even though their average life happens, the love of God in them makes their lives extrodinary to behold. In Meg's case, who cares that she's married, a mom of two, has to live on a budget, and has thoughts? There are a million people who's lives look just like that. But the difference is that through the mundane facts and events of life, God weaves His joy, His wisdom, His gifts for her, His goodness, Himself, into her life here on earth. That is breathtaking. Not only does He do that in her life but also in the lives of countless numbers of people. I am full of gratitude to think of how many people God has put into my life who act like windows between me and God. I want to live and be that for the people who witness my life.
Deut. 3:24O Sovereign LORD,you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?
