Just too adorable

Kim Burke (found her on Flickr) makes all these cute little foods out of clay polymers.

Fantastic, don't you think?

Speaking of fake food I meant to put this on sooner but looky here

So what would you say this is? A healthy, delicious, portable meal?

If so, you are wrong.

It's actually fake food made by a middle school art class.

An art teacher who was at that convention I went to added some water to toilet paper (yes toilet paper) and that made a substance that resembled clay in texture. Except it's crap cheap and dries to a Styrofoam consistency. She had her students shape this into foods and then paint it with basic acrylic paints.

She brought all her extras, put it all out on a table and let teachers (and wanna-be's, excuse me, going-to-be's) take some home with them.

Students made pancakes, burgers, grilled cheese, sushi, waffles, cookies, fruit, ......... anything you can think of and it just all looked so real.

So yea, do it. Because you can and the kids in your life will ADORE you. ;)

Extra note: I spent the evening at my parent's house with mom, dad, and Kristen. We literally sat and talked about eveything for about 5 hrs. And Kristen made cheese/broccoli soup and mom made apple crisp. And I didn't do a thing except enjoy it all and them :)
I love them.
