I had my first sub teacher job this morning and it was great! Today I was a kindergarten teacher and wow, those people must have endless amounts of patience and energy. The kids were great (even the "high energy" ones) and I think I'm going to be ok. Today helped me feel much better about this new change. (HUGE GIGANTIC sigh of relief.)
I'm looking forward to getting more jobs and getting a bit more comfortable in this job. One thing I realized that's going to rock though is I hate routine. I hate it. But subbing is the very opposite of routine. Almost too opposite. That is very good. :)
