The bags are hanging around still stuffed with their stuff, a load of laundry is already spinning, and a missed kitty has been kissed thoroughly.
Here are some pictures from our last few days.
We got to hike a bit.
Our hotel and lake view room were just what we wanted.
There was a luau here the night before.
We were totally party poopers and didn't join in the drunken *ahem* fun
Even though the mornings were pretty chilly,
it was nice to sit out on the balcony with some coffee.
There were lots of ducks and large birds to watch.
(Fun Fact: Steven King lives somewhere on this lake. You may not believe me.
I didn't believe it when I first heard it either but it's true)
We fit in some shopping between naps and doing nothing

We were ready to come back when it was time but it's just nice to
take those retreats every now and then.
