Free things! and also some weekend plans

My mom gave me this the last time I was at her house.

She said her mom gave it to her when she was in 6th grade.

It's so sweet of her to give it to me.

Rachel's grandma gave her these old pyrex bowls and I guess they're not Rach's taste.

That's awesome because I love them.

She sent them home with Monique to give to me.

Yay!

And I sorta made this.

I just knocked out some old wax from a yankee candle container,

hot glued twigs around the outside, and dropped in a votive.

Do it.

It can be free if you look around and use what you have.

I'm planning on making several sizes.

Also, Anson and Rachel are going to the Marine's Ball tonight so Adam and I are watching the chillen's while they have a romantic night AWAY :) We know how neccessary that is. I'm so excited to watch the kids.

 We're doing the Operation Christmas Child outreach at our church (you pack a shoe box full of goodies and send it of to a child in the world) and so I'm going to get stuff so Hannah and Cy (not so much Garret) can help me pack the boxes. We're going to a boy box and a girl box.

This weekend is also Chris and Adam's birthday! On Saturday, Adam will be 25 and Chris will be 50! Do you get that? How fantastic is that?

 

It's just going to be a great weekend.

 

PS- Ally and Monique made it to Berlin. I hope the jet-lag doesn't them down too much.
